Growing up on Biscayne Bay in Miami,

Chad would make rafts from sytrofoam that washed up at low tide. With an oar, big stick and a sheet for a sail, Chad would explore new horizons, visiting the islands in the bay.

Youth
Becoming a professional child actor at seven years of age, he rocketed up as the top child actor in Florida by nine years old. Eventually he filmed over 50 national commercials and three movies. After moving to Jupiter, he put his acting career on hold while enjoying growing up on the Loxahatchee River, where his love of the water continued. If the boat wouldn’t run, Chad always found a way to get it going, and get out on the water.
College
After earning a BFA from Savannah College of Art & Design in Film/Video Production, Chad found his way into the marine industry. Being back near the water, was where Chad always felt at home.
Journeyman
Starting at the bottom, Chad learned fiberglass repair, gel coat repair and yacht painting, then he moved up to new yacht commissioning and rigging, Installing generators, water makers, along with navigation and communication electronics. Chad acquired his 100 Ton Masters license, captained several private fishing boats and made deliveries along the East Coast, Bahamas, and the Caribbean.
Life-Long Career
After settling down on land to start a family, Chad specialized in marine electronics for the last 16 of his 25+ years experience in the marine industry. Chad has formed American Custom Marine Electronics L.L.C., (ACME) on the foundation of Honesty, Integrity, and Pride, with ACME bringing the highest professional standards to the yachting community.
Giving Back
When Chad isn’t busy working on yachts, he enjoys giving back to his community, particularly working with local youth. Chad spends his spare time mentoring kids and developing them to be good people both on and off the field as a volunteer soccer coach with PBGYAA and Franklin Middle School.
